A Little Bit More About Lady Scruff

Hello, my name is Tammy  - welcome to Lady Scruff Pet Services. My mission is to provide a professional, friendly and reliable dog walking and pet sitting service for Beckenham, Catford, Lewisham and the surrounding areas.

I have been running my pet care business for 8 years and chose the name 'Lady Scruff' because the mothers of many animals pick up their young by the scruff. My aim is to work closely with you to understand how you care for your pet, so we can ensure their time with me is as fun and relaxing as possible. 

My current fur-baby is a labrador mix called Roxy, who joins me on some of the dog walks and has made many good friends through my work. I mainly care for dogs and cats but have also had requests to look after rabbits, tortoises, ferrets, birds and fish.

I keep my animal care knowledge current with books, podcasts and articles and regularly check in with other walkers, trainers and behaviourists in the area. I donate regularly to the Dogs Trust charity, following their research and advice and sharing it on social media. I enjoy instagram and facebook to keep clients updated with pictures and video clips of their pets, as well as sharing articles on animal research and welfare. I’m also very fond of a silly/amusing or interesting animal meme!

I am insured, CRB checked by the Disclosure Barring Service and have animal first aid education. References available on request. Please ask to see my certificates.
